This piece featured ages ago in a local theatre play (Mr Piroen by Felix Timmermans) performed in Mortsel (near Antwerp): The female character sang a poem to her far away love. I turned the poem into a song. I’ve long forgotten the words, but the tune stuck in my mind and is rather suitable for the classical guitar. Composed by Wim Hautekiet (around 1980)
